Ulys is the consumer brand of VINCI Autoroutes, offering electronic toll solutions for millions of drivers across France. Their acquisition team came to us to optimize the conversion performance of their landing pages used in Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns.

The challenge

Ulys wasn't starting from zero. They had a working acquisition funnel and active campaigns driving traffic. But the landing pages weren't performing at the level the team knew they could. The messaging wasn't tailored to different audiences, the mobile experience needed refinement, and there was a disconnect between ad copy and page content. The goal was clear: squeeze more conversions out of existing traffic.

The approach

Before designing anything, we audited everything. We analyzed the existing landing pages across UX, messaging, visual hierarchy, mobile experience, and ad-to-page consistency. The audit gave us a clear diagnosis: the pages needed to speak differently to different audiences. Someone coming from Google Ads is already looking for a solution. Someone coming from Meta is discovering the brand for the first time. Same product, completely different mindset.

The solution

We designed two distinct landing pages, each built around the intent of its audience. The Google Ads landing is direct, conversion-focused, with strong proof points and concise arguments. The Meta Ads landing is more narrative and immersive, built to educate and build trust with users who are just discovering Ulys. Both are optimized for mobile-first reading, with clear CTAs placed at the right moments and a visual hierarchy that guides the eye naturally.

The result

Ulys now has two purpose-built landing pages designed to convert at a higher rate across their two main acquisition channels. The audit deliverable also serves as a long-term reference for the internal team, giving them a framework to iterate on future pages independently. For a brand of this scale, small improvements in conversion translate into significant business impact.
